DESCRIPTION: Al Mamoura School was designed as a 905-student educational facility offering FS1 through Y13 grade and promoting ALDAR's interest in sustainability & energy savings. The building has become a showcase for sustainable schools and Estidama certification through unique green building strategies, such as daylight and water saving, in order to provide a superior learning environment. The site includes insulated external walls and roofs with energy efficient glass installed on the entire periphery. The project was awarded Two Pearl Ratings by Urban Planning Council in Abu Dhabi.
